What was the Problem?

The client was one of the biggest Non Profit Organisations incubating various non-profit programmes to eradicate poverty, illiteracy and other such problems from the face of India. The client also had many associated partners for whom they carried out their CSR activities. But despite of having such large-scale operations spread across the nation, the client did not have any virtual presence that they could use to make people aware of their activities and let them participate in their cause and work of charity by making donations.

Client also demanded features like payment integration that allowed recurring, monthly or one time donations, highlights of top donors and supporters and a feedback channel to understand people’s perspective that would help the client in improving their services and in taking informed decisions.

A Tough Fight

A challenge is just an opportunity to showcase our potential

To make the website platform truly user-friendly and to enable the donors to remain anonymous, client wished to allow end-users to login as Guest into the system and make donations anonymously.

The major challenge was to enable such guest users to enrol and subscribe to monthly donation programs or to enable a user to make recurring donations. The reason that was difficult as to subscribe to a plan, the backend would require users’ information.

To overcome the challenge, our expert developers at Zealous implemented a functionality that created unique user id for each guest and stored information in the backend to enable them to make recurring donations and to subscribe to different donation schemes.
